I am working on a console app with a strange effect.
The program opens a file, outputs some file Information (printf), and then enters a while Loop analyzing the Content of the file and making some Outputs by printf.
When testing this program on Win10 Desktop with the Debugger within IDE everything is ok, no Errors, no hanging. Setting a brakepoint to the final Close() Statement, the runtime is less than a second.
But when running the program from a console the program hangs after the Output of the file Information, i.e. there is no further Output and it does not finish. I have to end the program with Ctrl-C.
What can be the difference between running the program in debugging mode within the IDE and running it on a console?
