Please help what can cause the iphone simulator problem running on a macbook? Very simple program with Delphi 10.2.1 running on a macbook simulator, on the simulator iphone appears the program icon, when clicked on it launches the program only for one second, the program logo zooms to the whole screen and the program automatically closes.

Using Delphi 10.2 and can't turn off "Enable runtime themes"
I'm using Delphi 10.2 and can't turn off enable runtime themes. I uncheck the option in the Project Options -> Application page, then click the OK button, then re-open Project Options, and the box is checked again! What am I missing? How do I uncheck this option?`

IDE exception when trying to register an .NET assembly
Hello folks,
I'm trying to register a .net assembly in Delphi Berlin 10.1 using Components -> Import Component -> Import .NET Assembly but I get an IDE exception: "'{}' is not a valid GUID value"
Can anyone help? Starting the IDE as admin didn't help...

Fatal error on first Mac OS X compiling
Hello,
I am running a trial version of 10.1 Berlin that I just installed.
Delphi for win32 is working fine.
However, if I try to compile ANY project for OS X (using my mac as a target), I get the following error : [dccosx Fatal Error] F2084 Internal Error: AV0DF5E0D7-R00000014-0
I get the same error even if I try to compile a blank/basic project.
First time I try to dev/compile cross-platform.
Any Ideas ?

Using Android Emulator for debugging is not possible
That is what I see if I run Android Emulators in Delphi XE 10.2. The created emulators do not become actiev when running. Instead of that the cryptical devices appear and running my app on the emulator is not possible.

Video capture options in Firemonkey on Delphi 10.2
What options are there to stream live video in Firemonkey? I have tried direct access (Indy component and retrieving the JPEGs through a connection), but this was too slow. I have also tried the video component from the OpenCV library, but this seems to have problems connecting to our cameras. I've tried changing the parameters but for some reason I can't access the RTSP FFMPEG feed of any of my Bosch or Arecont cameras, yet it works well when I run it through other applications). This seems like such a common problem but I am not finding many alternatives.
(I am using Delphi 10.2 Tokyo and the application is written for a desktop running Windows 64-bit.)

CRUD - SQL Qry's- Live bindings
Can someone point me to some good samples/ information on CRUD using SQL Qry and live bindings. I'm hoping to convert a older database application from D6 to firemonkey. I don't seem to be able to find much on how you create, update, delete ect. I see lots of samples using tables or XML with developers lightly touching data but not really explaining something like how you post data, use a generators for Database for new database ID's, deleting records. Can you use a SQL Qry select a data set, post changes, create a new record delete ect and use live bindings. Just trying to get my head wrapped around this any help is greatly appreciated. I'm sure there is some good information out there somewhere but I have been able to find it.

Problem with "Rad Studio Platform Selection" and GetIt package Manager
Hi everybody, I have Delphi Tokyo and probably I have installed the update to 12.1 starting from the Rad Studio update from EDN. Now when I start Delphi I get the request for a valid registration code for C++. I don't have it as I only use Delphi, so I close it and RAD Studio Platform Selection starts. I uncheck the references to C++Builder and later it asks to start GetiIt Package Manager. Further it tries to download some packages but always returns Operation Error (Internal check error). I close the Rad Studio Platform Selection and Delphi starts ok. Can anyone help me in correcting this annoying problem? thanks a lot!

Workaround error TActionList in MDI program
Hi,
There is an MDI application running, it has two Child forms open.
on the Child1 form in TActionList is Action with a hot key (for example F7), this Action is connected to the shortcut menu of this form and it has an OnExecute handler.
on the Child2 form there is also a TActionList, but there is no Action with the hotkey F7.
I make the active form Child2. I press F7 in it and for some reason the handler from the first form Child1 is triggered.
It seems that Action is now global for all open forms.
Why? Is this Delphi 10.2.1 or is it the way it should be? Whether it is possible to correct it as something, what Action would be caused on a hot key only for the active form, ie. what would it be local as it is in Delphi 7 ?

Re-integrating Beyond Compare with Delphi 10.2
I have owned and kept Beyond Compare updated for over a decade. It used to be integrated into the Delphi IDE. I am running 4.2.3 build 22587, which is the current build. I have added it to the Tools list but that is not the same as it was when I could right-click on a source tab and select another tab to compare. That is an invaluable option.
Is there any way to restore this relationship?

Could it be possible to make the IDE remember our Community login, so we don't have to enter it every day? And could it be possible to use my default browser instead of Internet Explorer, that seems to be hardcoded in the IDE? BR Michael
